Last updated: October 23, 2025 (America/Anchorage)

Alaska Outlaws LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”) respects intellectual property rights. This DMCA Policy explains how to submit notices of alleged infringement and counter-notices regarding content produced or distributed under the AKUMedia DBA.

Designated Agent

Send DMCA notices and counter-notices to our Designated Agent:

  • Email: legal@akoutlaw.com
  • Mail: 2440 E. Tudor Road PMB 321, Anchorage, Alaska 99507
  • Entity: Alaska Outlaws LLC (DBA AKUMedia)

Do not send subpoenas or service of process to general addresses. Use the mailing address above or our registered agent as required by law.

How to Send a Takedown Notice (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3))

Your notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a list of works).
  2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., exact URL(s), timestamps).
  3. Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. A physical or electronic signature of the owner or authorized agent.

We may forward your notice (including contact info) to the uploader or other parties as necessary to process the request.

Counter-Notice (17 U.S.C. §512(g))

If your material was removed or disabled and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the Designated Agent above containing:

  1. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  2. Identification of the material removed or to which access was disabled, and the location before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the District of Alaska if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant notifies us that they filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

Repeat Infringers & Policy

Where appropriate, we may terminate, limit, or suspend access for repeat infringers. We may remove or disable access to content at our discretion.
